In St. Jude’s Private Schools, we believe that every child is unique with his or her talents, thus, we celebrate each child’s unique strengths and reward excellence in academic and extra-curricular activities without bias.

The goal of each award is to reward pupil’s excellence at the end of a project or a session and encourage healthy competition and collaboration amongst pupils. The criterion for each award is demanding yet attainable.

Presenting awards in various academic fields has developed a healthy competitive spirit in our pupils that has compelled many pupils to put up a diligent attitude towards their studies.

Prowess in other activities like debate, ballet, swimming, concerts, musical renditions and dance are also duly recognized.

Awards and Competitions

Pupils are usually awarded age-appropriate and subject-related book-gifts as a way of rewarding their excellent spirit and encouraging the desirable habit of reading in our learners.

Also to foster a positive interaction amongst their peers, motivate them to learn and encourage sportsmanship, we also encourage and prepare our pupils to participate in competitions organized by reputable local and international bodies.

Some competitions we have participated in include spelling bees, math competitions, debate competitions and music and dance competitions.

Our educators are constantly on the lookout for competitions that will ignite in our learners the passion for life long learning and the honing of requisite life skills.

Some notable competitions our pupils have participated in and bagged awards in include: The TFC Spelling Bee, The H&M Schools Music and Dance Competitions, Vinda Science Competition and Singapore Math Competitions.

The Future

We look forward to partnerships that would enable us do more to celebrate our pupils in order to keep them inspired and fired-up to succeed in today’s world where diligence is almost relegated to the background.
